Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you commit.

Do I need website experience?

No. We walk you through the content, design, review, and launch process.

Is monthly care required?

No. Website design is available as a one-time project. Optional care plans have a 12-month initial term if selected; occasional updates may be requested at $85/hour.

How much does a website start at?

Standard informational website builds start at $895. Other starting tiers are $1,395, $2,695, and $4,395. Final scope and price are confirmed in writing.

What is included in monthly care?

Your written proposal specifies included edits, routine checks, response times, hours, and whether hosting coordination is included. Third-party subscriptions are separate unless stated otherwise.

Are domains and hosting included?

Not automatically. We identify who owns and pays for domain, hosting, and paid services in your proposal.

Can you build a database or client portal?

Potentially, after reviewing requirements. Custom databases, accounts, integrations, and security needs require additional time and a separate estimate.

Do you create online stores?

Online stores and e-commerce checkout are not part of the standard informational website packages.

Can you guarantee search rankings?

No. We can plan for clear navigation and basic search-friendly setup, but no search position or business outcome is guaranteed.

What event planning do you offer?

Melissa and Joanna discuss small-event coordination, partial planning, and comprehensive planning based on guest count, scope, budget, and timeline. Fees and deposits are quoted in writing; deposits and lead times are based on the event scope.

How do I get started?

Send a brief inquiry. We will discuss goals and budget before asking for a detailed technical questionnaire.

Do fire departments receive a discount?

Eligible fire departments receive 10% off the initial website build only. Any tax exemption requires applicable documentation.
